Traveloka's Corporate Strategy function handles the company's overall group strategy, including managing corporate finance, investment and certain key strategic partnership initiatives. The Corporate Strategy Senior Associate is an important part of the team, with the following tasks.


What you will do?

  • Work with functional and product teams to track business metrics performance and conduct performance analysis
  • Cultivate relationships with management and working team members across the organization, and across the tech and adjacent ecosystem with industry players, startups, and investors to be at the forefront of new developments.
  • Primary contact point for execution-related matters, including for ad-hoc initiatives such as fund-raising, M&A or other transactions. This is inclusive of certain processes within these transactions, such as identifying priority areas for M&A, support in sourcing opportunities, execution of various streams of market and financial due diligence (both incoming and outgoing), as well as creating presentation materials for internal and external consumption.
  • Assist in delivery of recommendations to management and working teams that shape the company and its strategy by coordinating market research and synthesizing findings.
  • Contribute to strategic projects across different business areas
  • Support the team in defining group strategy and new ventures and partner with relevant business units to drive market insights and competitive intelligence, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives


Requirements:


  • High curiosity and hunger for innovation
  • Fluid personality to effectively maneuver across various layers of internal and external stakeholders
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience. Work experience in consulting / corporate finance/ corporate development/ banking / strategy is preferred
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficient in developing effective presentation decks to senior management teams.
  • Excellent project management skills to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects
  • Bachelor’s degree from top university
  • Work effectively in dealing with ambiguity
