Content Evaluator - INDONESIA - English/Indonesian

As a content evaluator, you will play a crucial role within the video teams, focused on reviewing and rating videos, identifying trends, and strategizing content based on client guidelines. You will improve the viewing experience for users globally by helping our product team identify patterns in video content, provide editorial and research services related to trending videos, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position holds an integral role in the team, engaging with a variety of projects. Each project has distinct responsibilities and requirements, contributing collectively towards the goal of improving user experience through content strategy and identification of video trends. The overarching goal is to improve the user viewing experience around the world by assisting the product team in discerning trends and patterns in video content.

Responsibilities:

Video Content Evaluation (70%)

• Analyze video content to detect patterns and trends to support data-driven decisions by the product team
• Identify patterns or trends within each cluster, adhering to safety guidelines
• Evaluate and assess the assigned number of video clusters required to meet daily deliverables

Continuous Improvement (10%)

• Consistently combining advanced spreadsheet skills and professional adaptability to contribute to the creation, and continuous improvement of the data management system
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide feedback on the review process and recommend improvements
• Maintain a keen understanding of video trends, problematic content, and safety concerns

Communication and Collaboration (10%)

• Communicate effectively with team members and management to facilitate a seamless review process
• Work closely with the manager or team lead to ensure timely completion of assignments

Research and Cultural Awareness (10%)

• Apply keen awareness of cultural and political contexts to all work
• Research, identify, and report on timely social media trends and emerging creators in specific countries

Required Skills:

• Deep familiarity with popular social media platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in guidelines, workflows, and tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian
• Strong familiarity with content trends, hit songs, memes and other expressions of popular culture, music, gaming, film, and TV
• Have the ability to review information with an analytical and objective mindset
• Deep familiarity of the cultural and political climates in Indonesia
• Ability to work remotely using tools such as Google Suites and Monday.com
• Flexible availability to accommodate varying workloads, potential schedule changes, and weekend shifts
• Experience with content review or moderation for a social media or video platform
