- Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients
- Meeting with customers to discuss details and planning of custom-made desserts and pastries for special occasions, such as weddings.
- Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
- You work fantastically under pressure, are cucumber cool and a natural-born leader who gets things done
- Good knowledge of WHS, food hygiene and efficient kitchen processes
- Assist in menu planning, implementation and execution
- You are a hands-on Commis Pastry with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar cutting edge hospitality environment
- Your team think you're absolutely fabulous and you LOVE to train your peeps
- Assist for food preparation and managing wastage for your section
- Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
- Bring your on-trend ideas, new dishes, new concepts and new menus to make our food offering the best in the area
- Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
- You will enjoy being on tools and bringing our creations to life
- Assist in the development through innovative and original menu planning and maintenance of high food standards
- Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships at all times
- Developing new recipes for seasonal menus.
