What can you expect from the role?

The assistant tax manager has the following areas of responsibility:

• Audit and controversy - Supported by country tax lead, the assistant tax manager is responsible to support country tax audits and internal compliance reviews.
• Provide business (decision) support - advises the business on the tax impacts limited to issue relates with indirect tax. The assistant tax manager represents tax in the country/MCO finance function, building relationships with key stakeholders in the business and in finance. Design/takes initiatives and execute projects concerning tax compliances.
• Compliance - With support from the country/MCO finance teams – for the delivery of tax compliance, in line with Global tax principles to contribute to achieve timely, correct and complete compliance on behalf of the VPs/NFDs Finance. This includes, but not limited to review the working file for corporate and withholding taxes prepared by third parties to finance under tax manager supervision, prepare analysis from the reconciliation and ensuring that any differences are justifiable and close within next following month

Does this sound like you?

• Experienced in tax correspondence with tax authority (letter drafting)
• Having experiences in tax audit, tax reconciliation, monthly tax reporting
• Strong in analytical skill and detail oriented
• Experienced and proficient using e-Faktur Host to Host and e-SPT
• Having knowledge on Indonesia VAT regulations
• Good communication skill
• Able to work individually or in team
• Having minimum requirement of 2 years experiences handling indirect tax (VAT)
