Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Revenue Leader

Job Type: Contract

Location: Ubud, Bali

Reports To: Head of Business DevelopmentBarefoot Luxury Resort in Ubud, Bali

Language proficiency: Bahasa Indonesia and English

Salary range: IDR 95.000.000 to 105.000.000 gross + THR + service charge


On behalf of our client, we are looking for a highly talented revenue specialist who aspires to be a successful leader in a boutique dive & yoga resort in Nusa Penida. The Assistant Revenue Leader is responsible for managing the reservations process and guest service delivery, as well as defining and executing the resort's digital media and eCommerce strategy, to ensure excellent guest service and financial profitability.


  • Analyze the resort's overall monthly performance and produce a summary report with recommendations for boosting long-term strategies.
  • Responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and pricing retreat and group business strategies
  • Conduct quarterly revenue performance analyses and formulate strategic and tactical action plans for the resort.
  • Oversee and audit the reservations department's operations and standards.
  • Check the input and data quality (segmentation, cancellation monitoring, etc.) on a regular basis.
  • Provide a weekly forecast of anticipated results, variations, and budget comparisons.
  • Oversee the hotel's revenue management and distribution strategy, as well as daily yield operations.
  • Daily pick-up analysis, modifications to strategies, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the resort's sales team.
  • Ensure that all systems are properly configured, validated, and operational.
  • Establish and maintain a 13-month rolling demand calendar.
  • Create and design pricing strategies that take the resort's uniqueness into account.
  • Manage and direct all third-party distribution strategies.
  • Conduct a competitive analysis and monitor market trends.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of B2B rates and distribution partners.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, environmental scanning, market analysis, distribution yield management, business mix yield management, length of stay yield management, inventory availability by channel, pricing control, and creative pricing concepts.
  • Maintain the website's booking process by keeping it current and functional.

Qualification:

  • Strategic thinking combined with the proven ability to move strategy to action
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
  • 3+ years in hotel reservations and distribution
  • Team-building skills and a proven track record are essential
  • Communication and Influencing skills
  • Proven experience in analysis and problem-solving required
  • Independent and self-reliant
  • Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of automated systems, PCs and MsExcel, MsWord
  • Comfortable in discussions with leaders and teams
  • Self-study and independent work ethics are required


Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required.
