Art Instructor Jobs

Are you passionate about art and education? Do you have experience teaching painting and other art techniques? We are seeking enthusiastic and talented part-time Painting and Art Instructors to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and creativity with museum visitors of all ages and inspire their artistic journeys.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and proper use of art materials and equipment during classes.
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to visitors to enhance their artistic growth.
• Conduct engaging and interactive art classes and workshops focused on painting and various art techniques.
• Guide and support participants in exploring their artistic expression while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Demonstrate a strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and contemporary practices related to painting and other art forms.

Requirements:

• Passion for art education and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and fostering creativity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners of all ages.
• A degree or certification in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in various painting techniques, including but not limited to acrylics, watercolors, and oils.
• Flexibility in adapting teaching methods and approaches to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Previous experience teaching painting and art to individuals or groups, preferably in a museum or educational setting.

This position is part-time, with flexible hours based on the instructor and museum's schedule. The instructor's compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
