Application Support Engineer Jobs

We are seeking an experienced Application Support professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's software applications, providing end-user support, and identifying and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
• Work closely with software developers to identify and resolve software bugs and errors
• Document all support requests and resolutions in a ticketing system
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software applications
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on new software releases and updates
• Create and maintain user manuals and technical documentation for software applications
• Monitor and maintain the performance of the applications, including performing regular software updates and system checks
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members
• Provide technical support to end-users via email and in-person

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with ticketing systems and incident management
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in SQL and databases
