Job Summary
The Application Administrator is able to fulfill different supporting roles depending on specific technology needs to data security, software testing, project management, etc. Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefit analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and ensure the status of the IT tickets does not exceed the SLA.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to all company, IT and department policy, processes and procedures.
  • Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
  • Provide regular updates to appropriate managers and conference with them on complex or unusual situations.
  • Responsible for all Disaster Recovery setup and testing.
  • Support and administer the IT system infrastructure following the company standard.
  • Perform technical and/or administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of the IT ecosystem.
  • Prepares project plans and implementation schedules.
  • May perform any ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Serves as an escalation point for troubleshooting issue.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, making customer issues a priority.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information whether internal to Jabil or customer specific.
  • Participate in process, procedure, and systems continuous improvement, identify creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining them, and assure they are efficient and not redundant.
  • Participate in customer audit, internal/external audit assessment.
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction with the utilization and results of the established processes and procedures.
Job Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in supporting and administer Manufacturing Shop Floor system.
  • Basic networking and systems architecture, troubleshooting skills.
  • Customer services skill as well effective communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Experience in creating SQL query, PowerBI reports would be advantages.
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Has the ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Advance troubleshooting skills of computer hardware.
  • Must have the sense of urgency and decision making (problem solving)
  • Has the ability to follow written and verbal directions.
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail.
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency in MSSQL, Power Application and C#.
  • Ability to work additional hours and on call support requirements.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to question from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Able to speak in English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia
  • Knowledge of SAP and Manufacturing Shop Floor processing.
