Owl Labs is looking to hire our first in-market business leader for the Asia-Pacific region. We have had initial success in the Japanese market through a strong partnership and have an opportunity to both increase our expansion in Japan while also growing new markets throughout the area. As General Manager, APAC you’ll be expected to uncover partnership opportunities, direct/indirect hiring needs, manage the region’s P&L, and ultimately grow the business substantially.
What You’ll Do
Manage the P&L for the region to balance revenue generation with the associated investments required to achieve or exceed plan.
Uncover strategic partners, distributors, or channels to sell Owl Labs products throughout the region.
Collaborate with the leadership team to recommend investment opportunities, allocation of centralized resources, or product considerations for different markets.
Hire employees as needed to support the growing customer base throughout the region.
Determine which individual countries in the region represent the largest opportunity for growth and drive the steps needed to make the product available in those markets.

Qualifications
We’re looking for a leader who understands the nuances of the APAC region well. Someone who has brought new products/services to countries throughout Asia-Pacific and is comfortable forging the relationships necessary to gain quick traction and product adoption. If we advance to the later stages of the interview process, we would like to see a light draft of a plan for how you would approach expanding on our initial success in Japan and building out the rest of the region.
Requirements:
5-10 years of experience leading the expansion of software/hardware/services throughout the APAC region.
Have built and scaled a multi-functional team to support an expanding customer base in various countries throughout APAC.
Have experience finding, working with, and selling through strategic channel partners, value added resellers, and distributors in various countries throughout the region.
Have scaled APAC to $20m+ in a prior leadership role.
Clear communication skills - both written and verbal.
Demonstrable leadership skills.
Strong work ethic with the confidence to work autonomously.
Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and learn new concepts fast.

Your day to day
As General Manager for Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Wahid Hasyim
you will manage the day to day leadership and direction of the hotel, maximising onsales and revenue and driving financial returns.
