Description Position at GroupM Project Manager - GAVI alliance - Unilever Behavior Change Communication Project WPP Indonesia is currently seeking a project manager to work on its GAVI (Global Alliance for Vaccination and Immunization) - Unilever behavior change communication project in Indonesia. This project aims to execute an ambitious demand creation strategy in Indonesia that will stimulate the uptake of priority health behaviors by combining tried and tested behavior change tools and innovative new solutions. Informed by behavior change theory, practical field experiences and the latest available data, the WPP group is currently developing a comprehensive multi-channel communications strategy incorporating research, creatives, mobile and aspects of community mobilization and interpersonal communication. These channels will be used in a synergistic way to ensure the widest possible reach and impact, while leveraging existing public and private sector infrastructure, systems and personnel in order to maximize cost effectiveness, scale and sustainability. The communications intervention will operate at multiple levels to not only engage families and communities but also networks of service providers, community leaders and other influencers and health system officials. The entire project is designed to build continuously the capacity of the government so that key lessons, products and methodologies can be transitioned to the government for scale-up and sustainability. Overview of job The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project management, managing the training aspect of the program, in addition to the management of relationships with state government and other stakeholders. She/he will ensure that the Project''s training related objectives are achieved on time according to the work plan and budget assigned in the contracted project. She/he will be required to liaise with dignitaries, donor, implementing partners (IPs), state level government officials including bureaucrats, social sector consultants, subject experts, INGO executives in leading positions as well as frontline health workers. He/she should be able to manage multiple relationships with stakeholders at different levels tactfully. The position will be based in Jakarta, with frequent trips to the field project sites.
