Get to know the Team Merchant Engagement is part of the Merchant Operations team, and we build effective programs to engage Grab merchant partners in Indonesia. We work with different teams and stakeholders across Grab (including GrabFood and GrabMart), and city operational teams to understand merchants needs translating those needs into useful programs that can be implemented through different channels (e.g. social media, messaging, events/webinars, online communities). Get to know the Role The successful candidate must be able to communicate and coordinate well across different teams and personalities, understand vastly different KPIs spread across these different teams, and then ensure that the vast amount of communications address these internal stakeholder needs in an efficient and optimised way. Daily responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: Develop and propose merchant engagement programs with a community building focus that align with business needs and OKRs Work with stakeholders across several internal teams to implement merchant engagement community programs, in different ID cities (GF city teams) Execute merchant engagement community programs with appropriate communications campaigns to drive business outcomes (e.g. increase conversion rates, maximise transactions, etc.) Own and maintain merchant engagement community program reach and engagement rates while working with internal teams to keep a lookout for business/impact OKRs that are influenced by the programs and/or campaigns The Day-to-Day Activities: Community Management Events: Plans and executes offline/online merchant engagement events including workshops, talks, roadshows etc. Maintains a calendar of events and implementation plan builds and maintains the community playbook Ensures that the events are successfully run and achieves high levels of merchant partner satisfaction, meets engagement objectives, adheres to budget. Manage vendors, agencies to organise all details of an event, from invitee list, guests, logistics, catering, event programming etc. Communications and Social Channels (incl. overseeing Creative Production): Manage social media platforms, online community groups and communication channels. Develop and maintain a communications calendar and communicate regularly with the merchant community via channels such as email announcements, blogs and social media. Track, monitor and report engagement metrics (reach, followers, engagement rate) across communication and social media channels and continue to improve on it. Strategy Working closely with Merchant Engagement Manager, develop and maintain a robust community strategy to engage, retain, educate and grow our merchants business, in line with Grab''s business goals and objectives. Own and manage all merchant partner engagement channels and communities, including events, social channels and communication tools, while supporting key initiatives on stakeholders roadmaps. Set the standard for community engagement by developing and implementing best practices. People and Team management Manage associate(s) - about 3 - 4 members - who will be posting engagement content and coordinating events. The Must-Haves: Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field At least 5 years proven work experience in community building, communications or a similar position in a marketing or communications department Complete knowledge of relevant B2B communication channels like email, messaging, social media, etc. Familiarity with analytical software such as Google Analytics, Tableau and Microsoft BI Excellent presentation and communication skills, written and spoken language skills (Bahasa Indonesia and English) Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines effectively Possesses a strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently, navigate ambiguities and problem-solve in a logical manner Keen interest to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment Our Commitment We recognize that with these individual attributes come different workplace challenges, and we will work with Grabbers to address them in our journey towards creating inclusion at Grab for all Grabbers.
