About the Application Support Manager Role:
The Application Support Manager is responsible for developing and implementing product presentations, technical support and improvement plans to support the internal team.
Establish and maintain customer records and contacts
Train distributor sales teams, tech support teams and customers (commercial lab and hospital lab team) on the effective use of diagnostic tests and related products
Effectively communicate clinical data and test work flow to physicians as necessary
Attend conferences, webinars to support promotion and clinician engagement
Work with KOLs, sales consultants, global R&D, medical affairs and regulatory on multiple projects for product improvement and new product development
Offer results interpretation, troubleshooting advice and technical enquiries
Manage and address customers feedback (this could be done to collect feedback e.g. surveys or just manage negative feedback such as deal with customer complaints)
Train internal team members to efficiently use and promote of diagnostic test and other products
Manage the product support information and communication flow between customer and all relative internal departments. This includes driving change to enhance the product or service and dealing with complaints
Collect and manage complaints from customers
Continuously review industry trends and client feedback to anticipate future market needs
Understand relevant papers and publications and support the development of promotional materials
Plan and execute small experiments/trials to address specific commercial and medical affairs objectives
Assist clients in the application of products
Set up meetings with hospital specialists and doctors
Territorial coverage and management
To succeed in this Application Support Manager role, you must have at least six years of experience in the IVD industry
Fluent in English/Bahasa Indonesia
10 or more years of work experience in South East Asia, in laboratory diagnostics support
Track record of dealing with laboratory staff, healthcare professionals, and key decision makers
Preferred: candidates with up-to-date knowledge of key developments related to infectious diseases and transplant medicine, including diagnostic and therapeutic trends and competitive clinical landscape
